James Damches is a dedicated advocate with experience in government, international relations, and legal settings. Currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate at Monash University, James draws on extensive experience working with Australian Senators and MP’s. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in international relations, and his hands-on involvement in political campaigns at the federal, state and local levels reflect his firm commitment to shaping Australian policy within an interconnected world.
James is an active member of organisations such as the Law Institute of Victoria, the United Nations Association of Australia, and the Samuel Griffith Society, where he regularly engages in discussions on international diplomacy. His work reinforces his belief that Australia’s economic, legal, and cultural interests are intrinsically linked to that of the United States.
Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a dedication to fostering Australia’s role within the international community, recognising that the Australian way of life, including defence and trade, is inevitably shaped by its strategic relationship with the U.S. His passion for international law, diplomacy, and governance drives his vision for Australia’s future as a key player in global affairs and strong continued ally of the United States.
